Vivian Son, originally from Korea, began her artistic journey as a ballerina, gaining discipline and precision. Drawn to visual art, she later discovered her passion for jewelry, blending beauty with detail. In her late twenties, she moved to the U.S. to study at GIA, earning a Graduate Gemologist degree. She spent 10 years in New York’s Diamond District, gaining experience and building strong industry ties. With this foundation, she launched her brand, Vivian Son New York, creating bespoke pieces for private clients. Now living just outside Manhattan with her two daughters, she continues to be inspired by her family and love for craftsmanship.
