IDES FINE JEWELS
Founded in 2022 by New York based designer and visual artist Heather King, Ides Fine Jewels blends fine craftsmanship, storytelling, and a fascination with the natural world. After training as a painter, King was drawn to jewelry through the process of direct casting organic forms such as pear seeds and snails into precious metal, creating pieces that capture the beauty found in everyday objects.
Working primarily in yellow gold and coloured gemstones, her collections playfully reference historical jewelry motifs, particularly snakes, skulls, and symbolic power animals. Combining modern technologies with traditional handcraft, each piece reflects King's commitment to preserving artisanal skills and celebrating the enduring value of meticulous craftsmanship.
