YASUKO AZUMA

Born in Sapporo, Japan, and based in Brooklyn, Yasuko Azuma creates fine jewelry that balances Japanese sensibility with contemporary craftsmanship. After moving to New York to study at FIT, she launched her namesake collection in 2002, developing a distinctive aesthetic rooted in texture, detail, and quiet elegance. 

Working primarily in 18k gold, Azuma is known for her signature diamond dust finish, intricate hand pierced patterns, and thoughtfully selected natural diamonds and colored gemstones. Inspired by nature, traditional Japanese design, and the beauty of imperfection, her pieces offer a refined and deeply personal approach to everyday jewelry.
