Jake Matluck is a New York-based goldsmith whose work is inspired by the jewelry traditions of ancient civilizations, from the Etruscans and Romans to the Greeks and Celts. Trained in traditional goldsmithing techniques, he creates each piece entirely by hand using his signature 22-karat gold alloy, natural gemstones, and antique mine-cut diamonds. 

His designs balance historical influence with a contemporary sensibility, celebrating craftsmanship, materiality, and the enduring power of adornment. Rejecting mass production in favour of a slower, more intentional approach, Matluck creates timeless jewelry that honours ancient techniques while offering a fresh perspective for modern collectors.
