Pat Flynn creates powerful, deeply considered jewelry that explores the relationship between precious and non-precious materials. Working from his studio in New York’s Hudson Valley, Flynn combines forged iron, high karat gold, diamonds, pearls, and gemstones to create pieces of striking beauty and authenticity. 

His process begins with blacksmithing techniques, using hot iron and heavy hammer blows to forge each form before transitioning to goldsmithing methods such as engraving, stone setting, fabrication, and gold fusing. Embracing a fluid, intuitive approach, Flynn often preserves original saw-cut edges as a subtle nod to the maker’s hand. Each piece is crafted individually and designed to become a lasting vessel for personal memories and everyday wear.
